For the month of March 2018, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons highlighted Canadian Surgeons Dr. Sherif Emil and Dr. Etienne St-Louis from Montreal, Quebec throughout their journeys onboard the Africa Mercy.
Dr. Emil and Dr. St-Louis wrote dispatches which were published by the Royal College, McGill University and The Montreal Children’s hospital.
