I want to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you on behalf of our volunteers and the entire Mercy Ships Canada team. Your unwavering support enables our volunteers to make a significant impact on lives in West Africa.

Years have now passed since Vanya’s journey toward healing. In the time since, her improved ability to walk allowed her to return to school, where she loved studying environmental science and learning about the world around her.
