Every career has seasons

Where are you in your career?

Early Career

Typical commitment: 2 wks – 3 months
“Use your training where it matters most.”

You’ve earned your qualifications. Now use them in a context where your skills directly change someone’s life. Short-term roles let you serve without derailing your career trajectory.

Mid-Career

Typical commitment: 4 – 11 months
“You have the expertise. This is how to give it forward.”

You’ve built something meaningful in your career. A mid-term commitment lets you bring that depth of experience to a team that needs it — and return home with a perspective that reshapes what comes next.

Seasoned Professional

Typical commitment: 1 – 2+ years
“Your experience is exactly what the next generation needs.”

Whether you’re approaching retirement or simply ready for a different kind of contribution, long-term roles let you mentor, lead, and leave a legacy that extends far beyond your career.

Tu vis au Canada?

Here’s how we can help.

Canadians in your corner

Catherine, Yara, and Chris bring a mix of shipboard and shoreside experience. They understand what it takes and will give you a straight perspective on whether your background is the right fit—or where it could fit—before you invest time in a full application.

Parlez-vous français?

French speakers are in high demand on board—especially when we are serving in French‑speaking countries. While the application process and working language on the ship are English, we offer bilingual support to guide you every step of the way.

You won't do this alone

Building a base of support is part of the journey. Volunteers often invite friends, family, colleagues, community service clubs, and churches to be part of a team that stands alongside them and shares in the impact. We are here to help.
