Siu Mee Cheng possesses over 20 years experience in the public and health services sectors working, and has assumed leadership positions at the local, provincial and federal levels. She has had the opportunity to work across the care continuum from disease and injury prevention and health promotion through to hospice palliative care. She has helped to drive health services delivery performance, quality and accountability, all with the aim to ensuring quality patient care. She is President of Point Consulting Services, and is providing management consulting services within the health and social services sectors.
Siu Mee is committed to volunteerism and has served on several NFP charity boards including The Surrey Place Centre, the Canadian Cancer Society, and the Canadian Evaluation Society. She possesses a MHSc in Community Health from University of Toronto, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Social Policy Studies at Ryerson University with a focus on health and social services integration. She is looking forward to supporting the advancement of Mercy Ships Canada mission and addressing health inequity issues on a global scale.
